I just had to say this since I just finished reading the scans of the new series by the author of Akuma to Dolce!

The new series is called Kamisama Hajimemashita(3 easy terms- "God-sama, nice to meet you") and is about a high school girl that loses her home until a man gives her his own, only for her to find out it's a shrine.
Just like Akuma to Dolce, it has a handsome demon! Another of the human girlxdemon boy shoujo.


This was a sudden turn of my weekend, since last night I was literally crying when I read a Hetalia doujin.
The doujin was about Prussia finding the living corpse of Hole Roman Empire after the 30 Years' War. The whole image was so sad... and then he takes HRE's body and resurrects it to become a baby Germany. Thus meeting Italy and a very, very, deep conversation about being a nation in human shape and HRE's memories.

This morning I cried again rereading the doujin, and now I read this cute manga.

I also ended the night with another sweet note other than watching Death Note and Ghost in the Shell at this very moment- I have my eyes on a cheap bodyline skirt that is rather popular- I can't quite remember if it is a brand replica(I think it is) or not, but for $19- I could even afford it right now!
I could wear that skirt ot Ohayocon than the skirt I got from Milanoo, but then I'd need to carefull choose shoes, because I was also thinking about getting shoes from Bodyline, and would need to consider what color to get them in. Obviously, if I went black, I couldn't coordinate them with the blue and sweets skirt... It looks like the best choice is white. I could also buy a decent-priced blouse at Bodyline- and look! I'm almost halfway there to a full outfit!
Sweet.

Last month I ordered a cheap skirt from Milanoo.com.
Just this few days as I waited for it to come in the mail, I realized a huge uproar going on in the egl communities about the bad service and crappy quality people have been receiving from.
In the end, Milanoo is now banned from the community and people have encouraged to boycott it.
How exciting!
Yesterday I got it!

I do have a few gripes about the skirt-
The lace has some threads here and there, and I'm pretty sure it's not the greatest of lace.
Several places with loose threads.
It took me a looooong time to zip the zipper all the way up. I was scared if I tried pulling any harder, I'd rip the zipper off.
The hoop skirt it came with is so WEIRD. It has a morphed loop at the bottom.
The fabric is kind of see-through, but since it's black it's not a terrible thing.

I want to get a petticoat and see it looks underneath!

Completely ignoring that my birthday was today, I must make some notes, mostly to myself really, that have happened last month that I never mentioned before!

I recently read the available chapters of these shoujos:
Hadashu de Bara wo Fume
Dengeki Daisy

I really like both, DD especially. Just like in Kaichou wa Maid-sama(anime of it in the makings!), the guy could be a shoujo-version of Ichigo, but you would really have to stretch his character to fit with Kurosaki- yes, they have the same last name too.
Coincidences.
-That reminds me, Tsubasa ended! AAAAGGHHH I DID NOT UNDERSTAND IT AT ALL.

The art is lovely, and I always love a oblivious character like Teru. D'awwwww.

Then there is HdBwF(too lazy to write it fully or give the English title). I wondered why it said in the tags Historical, but now I do know why.
I did not know Japan was like that in the 1800s! Good lord, while Beethoven and Haydn lived and composed, most of the Japanese population still only had yukatas, yet the richest would wear western clothing?
Is this even historically accurate?
It's a nice, story though. Lovely how they turned her 'prince' to being so in love with her, he goes downright insane, kidnapping her, and idolizing a very-disconcerting- painting he did of her.
I wish for these two to get the next chapters scanned as soon as possible so I don't forget of them!

That reminds me of how I should update tags and interests with these titles to help not forget!

In the times of music- I''ve been listening to the same thing for quite a while, it's getting boring. I really like B'z's new single that was #1 on the Oricon charts recently, but YUIs singles were not as good.
But then I found downloads to UVERworld's new single, and today Kanjani8's new single!
I'm excited, I should really have a listen to the songs and look at getting them!

Today is also the start of NaNoWriMo, so I'm looking to working very hard on that! That means I shouldn't be doing any fanfics when  I should be trying to get 20k (hurrrr for YWP) words on my idea.
You should try NaNoWriMo! Especially if you have an interest in writing, it helps because you can see how much to a novel you can write in one month.
The site says you shouldn't edit or revise, but I'll probably do it anyway, because I'm anal like that.

I had a goal to watch a Japanese drama, or atleast an episode, and I did. Last episode of Hana Yori Dango.
Then I got the first Death Note movie.
Still waiting for the second to arrive from the library!

To end this lovely tying of the month, I'll share what I got for my birthday today-
All Hello Kitty stuff- two bags, a cake, and edible paper.
This makes me rather happy!

Happy birthday to Shiba Kaien from Bleach- 10.27.09!


God I loved his character so much, despite being deceased when the Bleach storyline started.  I also LOOOOOOOVE the KaiRuki relationship and her guilt afterward in Bleach.
Poor Kaien had so much going for him, but so much happened;
-First off, he's dead
-His entire body and memories and such were captured by an espada, and totally mind-fucked Rukia.
-The whole Ichigo looks like Kaien business. NO THEY'RE NOT THE SAME.
-His voice actor was TERRIBLE. Despite Kaien being more energetic and enthusiastic than Ichigo most of the time, his voice sound liked he was someone high and smoking- IT RETAINED NONE OF HIS PERSONALITY.

Now, he's a loving memory in Rukia's mending heart, now used OOC to the max in fanfiction.
(of course I'm one of them)

Unforunately, no fanfics. I'm planning on doing NaNoWriMo. Still need a plot and story though. x_x

The new chapter 148 of Skip Beat really confused me!
I understand all of Sho's maniacal and childish obsession, but it starts getting hazy after that.
First, why exactly is Kyouko searching through the garbage for chopsticks? I read Sho's fans bento mention. What?
Then it just suddenly skips to her getting a chopstick from under the table(what?) and Sho pollutes her thoughts.
Later on to when she gives Ren the jello she mentions tastes or something and THAT reminds her of Sho?

It left me saying the last panel.

And the next chapter is in a MONTH?
You can't be serious. T^T

By the way, this icon worked pretty perfectly because of the mention of Kyouko's fairytale of her first kiss being ruined by Sho, the meany-head.

Seeing all the wonderfully colored pages of Bleach's latest chapter with the IchiRuki and guilty Ichigo, I don't want to touch those pages.

Maybe in a month or two- or never.

I want some REAL action. As amazing as the cover of drowning Ichigo and the two meeting again, it's unsatisfying, and Ichigo needs some help.

I'm just re-reading and re-reading Cat Street, and saving my favorite pages.
I LOVE IT TOO MUCH, BUT I HATE IT FOR NOT BEING LICENSED IN THE US.

Skip Beat has been released in Japan now! I can't wait for it to be scanned and translated!

I found an entry here for some new ideas of manga(with loli) and even dramas. Right now my goal this month is to see a drama, but then I was hearing people talk about this manga/drama called Cat Street, so I decided to try it.
I think I finished reading the 35 chapters in 3 days!
I absolutely loved the manga, my type of shoujo!
Cat Street is a manga about a girl named Keito, who was a child actress. When she was 9 she was a main role for a musical, but froze on stage, ruining her career and making her a recluse for 7 years.
When she is out one day, she meets a man who shows her El Liston, a free school for people who couldn't attend regular schools because of their schedules or social problems, as you could go whenever you wanted to. She goes on to meet 3 friends  and it progresses of their lives and relationships.
First off, the art was pretty nice, I just loved Kouichi because he was so handsome in many panels.

Kouichi is one of Keito's best friends. Not only is he hot, he has an IQ of 200, but has had social problems, letting anyone getting close to him.
The art is pretty simplistic when I compare eyes to other shoujo, but it's still very good. In fact, I had noticed something familiar of the style.
The author, Yoko Kamio, did Hana Yori Dango.
Sweetness.
As far as story, I think it was a good story. Keito is having to get used to people after staying in her room isolated for all the years, and getting over what happened to her on the stage.
Last is the romance that makes it a shoujo. It has good cases of romances. Right in the beginning there's an old childhood crush- later on another couple, jealously, and two finally confess after a period of almost 3 years being separated, including one or two unrequited cases. And I must say, I really love the person Keito ends up with, and how they got there.
Now, I'm interested in seeing what the drama is like. It's only 6 episodes, and the actors don't look as cute, but it's a goal I want to meet!

Watching the new episode of the dub, when I found out it was the whole Rukia Kaien/Espada episode, I was SO EXCITED. I wanted so bad to watch the emotional episode with the lovely Psuedo-Kaien mind-fucking Rukia…

But the dub, once again, screwed me over.

I already hate Rukia's dub voice by the Ruff woman- it doesn't suit her, and she's says it all weird. I actually hate pretty much all of the voices VIZ chose for the characters- they seem so god awful. The best voice actor they're gotten was the man known for voicing Roy Mustang in FMA as Ashido, and I actually really liked it. There, I could listen to a very nice voice and not mind Michelle's all that much.

But then that quality went back down the toilet when I heard the voice of Kaien.

He sounded stoned or something, just not lively and animated enough for the real Kaien. I couldn't stand it, and then along with Rukia's voice I had to keep it mute for most of the episode.

But that didn’t stop me from hearing what they said.

The whole dynamic between KaiRuki was ruined like pretty much every other relations of two people when you change how they call each other.

"Kaien! Kaien Shiba! Leutenient Shiba!"

What. The. Hell. Is. That.

Add to Kaien calling her Rukia.

That immediately killed their real interactions.

I had to keep it mute for the rest of the episode, placing the correct "Kuchiki" and "Kaien-dono" to ease my nerves. While doing that, I had to recognize the old fail of whoever draws the Bleach anime.

I mean, half the time Ichigo is pretty ugly, but Kaien had to suffer looking ridiculous for almost every frame of him!

That's the anime for you.

All in all, VIZ and Pierrot love to drive me away from the anime and just enjoy Kubo's lovely art in the manga, since every single person is pretty much beautiful and sexy.

I'm thinking Pierrot is even doing it on purpose with the whole quality control issues. When you look at Naruto and its anime(made also by Pierrot), Kishimoto's artwork wasn't entirely smooth and such, but by Naruto Shippuden it seems he's gotten to having characters look good and decent. The anime also started out with some question to being quality work as it most likely just styled after Kishi's work back then, but soon got much cleaner.

Bleach also started a bit different from Kubo's style now, and I must say he's really come quite far where  his styles is one of my most favorite from mangaka. He makes every character sexy, especially Aizen and Byakuya(hurrrrr). The anime in the beginning was styled just like the beginning(those very jutted chins and such) but also grew alongside with Kubo.

The only problem is that even now I've had question over why Ichigo looks so fugly here and there, especially in the lame dubs they come up with(not the zanpakutou arc, it's actually decent because it's Kubo-approved). The anime really hasn't gotten any better(more like worse) after they entered their first full filler arc.

Written last week during the actual episode. The next episode is tonight, and I probably will watch it again!

I watched it full blast and squealed every few minutes for five minutes.
I am currently watching it again.

Best.fanservice.Yet.

I'd like to see any other fanservice in Bleach beat this.

It had your characters, your fights, and Ichigo and Rukia.

It even was good quality, only a few frames I went "What's wrong with that...?"

The ending is pretty sad, but it ended happy, it really did.

The only thing is since Renji and co. did not remember Rukia, I saw very little of that, even of ByaRuki. It was all IchiRuki.
And I mean ALL IchiRuki, I didn't see much of anything else!
It's kind of sad Ishida, Inoue, and Chad didn't even appear AT ALL in the movie, they have had no screen time.

One of my favorite moments was when Ichigo found Rukia the first time and she asked him who he was, he stuttered! And then he was all mopey afterward.

The seiyuus Fumiko and Morita were so excellent, they really made the disalogue shine(that, and Ichigo's open-side of all the "Rukia changed my life, you can't erase our bond" was spectacular)!

Yay for new layout!
And a big YAAAAY for the header I finally made so I can change the layout! The amazing scans of Rukia and Ichigo for the Fade to Black movie that came from the special edition DVDs that came out. The two just look AMAZING and I decided to make the header using it!
Simple things I did, only playing with colors.

The only problem is that part of the header is not showing up, and I have NO IDEA how to fix it. I'm still looking into it.

I really need to start writing more IchiRuki!

The first Bleach movie was on Adult Swim last night.
BLEGGH. I did not watch it. NO WAY IN HELL.

There is no more ribbon.

Life is going to be slowing down this month.

There doesn't even seem to be a chance for me to write!

If I had known how many awesome scans from various stuff like Bleach gum cards of Byakuya in a suit, I could've made so many for Gaia Spirit Week so long ago....

I had used this one because 1) It was a transparent .png and 2) I was too lazy to look from anywhere else from the one site I was getting the pics for making these banners from.

Let me just mention that this last month has NOT been good except for Kamikaze Girls, Lost Angels(but so much grief writing this last chapter!), Bleach filler, Ohayocon(pre-reg was only $30 before my birthday! Still have to repay though), and learning how to shade(if you didn't notice, my old coloring makes their cheeks darker by round gradient and that was it).
I could list all the things that have making me terribly sad, but I don't post so much personal stuff on the internet
I just might be like this next month too, having family leaving for Germany and me stuck with animal care and more, along with school.

Notes: I love this chapter because of the KaiRuki and subtle hints in it. Plus, it ends in a very serious cliff hanger, with the climax very soon, if not the next chapter. I'm planning on having the entire scene with the climax in one chapter, so it will definitely be longer than this. Before beta-ing this chapter, it was only 800 words.
The chapter title was kind of random, I could have made it something better for this chapter, but no matter. No one really cares about the chapter titles(except me, I would guess).
